Intuitive Machines to Acquire COMSAT, Expanding Earth-to-Space Communications Capabilities

· The acquisition is expected to expand Intuitive Machines’ integrated space-to-ground network and communications capabilities
· COMSAT will continue to provide ground-based satellite communication services supporting commercial and government customers while benefiting from expanded investment and resources
Goonhilly USA Inc ("COMSAT") has today announced that it will be acquired by Intuitive Machines, a space technology, infrastructure, and services leader, subject to customary closing conditions.
COMSAT provides satellite communication services through its secure network of teleports in California, Connecticut, and Cornwall, supporting global customers via antenna hosting and leasing solutions.
Upon completion of the transaction, COMSAT’s US and UK-based teleports and experienced workforce will help support Intuitive Machines’ growing ground segment requirements, while continuing to serve its existing commercial and government satellite communications customers worldwide.
Following closing, COMSAT will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, maintaining its established brand and customer relationships while gaining access to the resources needed to deliver advanced ground‑station solutions at scale with Intuitive Machines.
COMSAT operates alongside Goonhilly Earth Station Ltd in the United Kingdom, serving a geographically diverse and strategically aligned ground segment network spanning North America and Europe. Integrating COMSAT resources into Intuitive Machines is expected to help the company deliver advanced, resilient Earth‑to‑space communications services wherever its customers operate.
